Seed cleaning is the first step in seed processing. Due to the variety of impurities in the seeds, proper machinery should be selected for cleaning. According to the different properties, it can be divided into large impurities and small impurities according to the geometric dimensions; According to the length, there are long impurities and short impurities; According to the weight, there are light impurities and heavy impurities. Even if they are light impurities, they can still have differwnce of weight and density (specific gravity). The color difference is also a kind of seed impurity classification.
Different properties of impurities adopt different removal methods. Different removal methods necessarily require different mechanisms. The following principles are generally adopted. (1) If the impurities are lighter than that of normal seeds, and the size is obviously different from that of normal seeds, the aspiration cleaning machine shall be used. (2) When removing long or short impurities that are obviously different in length and size and still cannot be removed after air separation processing, the socket-type indented separator shall be used.(3) After being processed by the air cleaning machine and the socket-type cleaning machine, the cleanliness has been significantly improved, and the particle size is relatively uniform, but there are still some dried kernels and worm-eaten kernels mixing with maize; Dry and shriveled grains and shelled grains in wheat; For worm-eaten and diseased grains in beans, most of the above impurities are density (specific gravity) impurities, which are similar to good seeds in weight and are difficult to remove. At this time, they need to be cleaned with a specific gravity cleaning machine.
